Sara Gaber is an international lawyer with a depth of knowledge in European and Middle Eastern regions where she concentrated on mediation, arbitration and commercial litigation. Her educational experience was established at some of the world’s finest legal universities in France and Egypt, and at one of the United States’ most preeminent law schools.
After graduating from Cairo University Law School and Université Paris I Sorbonne with two law degrees in 2010, Ms. Gaber received her Master of International Business Law from Université Paris I Sorbonne with Honors in 2011. She also earned an L.L.M. degree focusing on International and Comparative Law from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2014.
Ms. Gaber was a licensed attorney in Egypt before moving to California. She was exposed early in her career to international law through her work on major international commercial arbitration disputes. In addition, she contributed to numerous international law publications.
Prior to joining Pacheco & Neach PC, Ms. Gaber served in different national and international law firms in the United States and Egypt, including Wilson Harvey Browndorf LLP and Baker McKenzie, where she worked on complex commercial litigation matters and international arbitration.
It is in the less traditional, the less obvious steps one takes in life that can be most illuminating. In a singular set of actions taken to build an open political foundation for a society, Ms. Gaber lent her education, skills, and efforts to synergize the “Arab Spring” in Egypt at a recent historically critical juncture. She, along with others similarly constituted, organized an initiative for the nascent beginnings of political freedom in Egypt that included mass education of an unfamiliar citizenry on the inner workings of democracy, political parties, and the right to vote, all things Americans assume.
Ms. Gaber took risks when others flinched, with courage and an unerring desire to solve an intractable problem. At Pacheco & Neach PC, Ms. Gaber has just the grit and intellect we value.
Ms. Gaber served at the Egyptian Economic Court where she was part of mediation hearings under the supervision of Egyptian judges. She also attended court hearings and engaged in post-hearing discussions with the judges; circulated among the different departments of the Court to understand its internal functions and accomplished the various tasks of each department. Ms. Gaber is well versed in the Egyptian and French Civil Procedure Law.
